DOODLES AND EMBROIDERIES
I am always doodling on whatever scrap of paper is before me, sometimes those doodles get transferred to fabric, and they get embroidered in much the way I doodle. I always loved my grandmother’s monogram, which is also my initials, it has become a recurring image for me, a connection to the person who taught me to sew. I have played with this in stitch and print. Again the idea of text in textile.
