Here I am presenting Mending As Metaphor - Finding Community by Slow Stitching in a Fast Paced World to my wonderful colleagues at TSA. I also offered a mending session for the students at SCAD with Susan Brown who helped curate the Scraps Show at The Cooper Hewitt in NYC and Nika Feldman, textile artist extraordinaire. TSA is an important organization for the deeper understanding of textiles and a place where scholars and artists share knowledge.
